Questions

Michigan Heroes benefit FAQs

Is this a separate mortgage program?

No. It is a Leeward Point Mortgage closing-cost benefit that may accompany an eligible mortgage transaction. Loan approval and terms are determined separately.

Is everyone guaranteed $650?

No. The benefit is up to $650 and cannot exceed eligible closing costs or applicable limits. Eligibility, loan approval, lender rules and transaction structure all apply.

Can it be combined with VA financing or down-payment assistance?

Potentially. Compatibility depends on the specific loan, assistance program and lender guidelines. Mike will review the complete structure before representing that benefits can be combined.

What documentation is required?

Reasonable documentation of eligible employment or service may be required. Do not submit sensitive documents through ordinary email unless instructed to use a secure method.
